Ola launches its “Lite” app - Smart & Quick Booking!

Ola is a leading Indian Online Transportation Networking Company. Recently the company has expanded to a network of nearly 6 lakh vehicles over 110 cities.

Ola reaches out to the millions of Indians by the increasing users of the smartphones. It has launched “Ola Lite” app for those who are data conscious. It is the light weight version of the original Ola application.

“Ola Lite” weighs less than 1 MB and it leads within 3 seconds from the start. It reduces the loading time.

Ola delivers a smooth experience in the lowest internet connectivity that makes it easier to provide their services in additional towns. Ola has an attention to solve accessibility challenges in emerging cities and towns of the country.

Ola Lite makes use of the recently-launched Progressive Web App (PWA) framework. It let the users to sign up by asking their contact numbers instead of email.  It would display a smart and clear riding information. It also offers navigation in order to save data loads. Users can still be able to book different rides ranging from shared autos and cabs to luxury cars.

“Ola Lite” app is now available for Android users and can be downloaded from the Play Store.

Some of the features in the original app like Select Pass Purchase, credit card payments and Ola corporate account will not be available in this lite app.
