SAN FRANSISCO, Snapchat photo-sharing app maker Snap
Inc, is coming up with an online studio to make it easier
for the brands to develop or build ads that can be overlaid on the user’s
photos and videos.
Users can
manipulate their photos or videos using augmented reality lenses and
animations. Like animated cartoons on their face or back, then they post it to
their friends.
According to the company, the cost for sponsored lenses and animations to Snapchat is highly expensive with a minimum of 1.2 million per campaign for the advertisers.
Since yesterday, Snapchat removes these hurdles for the advertisers. Now any advertisers can build animations or lens using the new process as long as it is approved by Snap. The advertisers will pay based on the number of users who see their ads.
